LeVerne Oveson
Truly a gentleman of the north, Mr. LeVerne Oveson could do just about anything he put his mind to. He could fly a plane, build docks, trap, hunt, navigate the lakes without maps or aids, and - of course - fish. He was a master fisherman and guide. He handcrafted canoe paddles, and according to friends, enjoyed a good meal. He also had a talent for music, and played the piano, guitar and other instruments.
LeVerne, you will always be in our thoughts and near to our hearts. |

Tribute to
LeVerne E. Oveson

His love will not die when he does — It is in his soul and our souls.
We will all feel his love forever.
He did not live to die — He lived to love his family, his friends and his life.
LeVerne’s life is made up of a quilt work weaved together
of stories of love and of life.
We could listen to stories of his life forever and encourage all of you
to continue to share your personal stories of LeVerne with all of us.
We are all so blessed to have had him in our lives!
I do not have a specific instance to recount of my love of LeVerne.
He was a presence, an overwhelming everyday presence,
that I cannot put into words.

God bless our memories of LeVerne E. Oveson,
